Not All Heroes Wear Capes

Congratulations to all the honorees fêted at Main Line Today’s ‘Healthcare Heroes’ reception at the Desmond in Malvern. 

Kelly Andress, SageLife’s founder and president, was acknowledged for SageLife’s Connections Memory Care program, an innovative plan of care designed around nationally-recognized dementia care expert Teepa Snow’s Positive Approach® to Care. Each of SageLife’s communities has a designated Connections coach who incorporates Positive Approach® training into monthly communications sessions. “We create environments that are tailored for each resident’s success, focusing on where they are in the dementia journey, rather than on what they have lost, ” said Andress.
